We’re thrilled to begin our AFWERX sponsored Auto-Inventory Kit pilot project with the 605th AMXS at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

We successfully installed our first Parcell Smart Tool Crib prototype at MacDill AFB, August 8-12. Maintainers have reported an average wait time of approximately 45 minutes per day for tool check-out and check-in, which directly impacts labor costs to the United States Air Force. This smart technology will allow the 6th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (6 AMXS) to quickly checkout common maintenance tools without having to stand line at their consolidated tool kit during shift change times, decreasing peak workload for support staff. The 6 AMXS has trained its crew chiefs on utilizing the technology and maintainers are already using the Tool Crib to check out tools. #DeliveringInnovation #InnovativeAF #AF75
